First off.. the dual 90 is not my main machine. It was actualy jsut a
toy because I got the motherboard for free and picked up a pair of P90's
for $25. It is a nonstandard board which I don't even have the case for.
It is sitting in my closet screwed to a piece of wood. I had been
unimpressed by NT on dual processors but since it was so cheap I decided
to try dual processors again... this time on linux... I was so
impressed. Even 2.0.xx worked pretty well... 2.1.xxx is even better...
Now I am seriously considering making SMP my main system.
Can somebody point me to sites with ppro's? I would be interested in
checking out my options...

Whats that law about outdating every 18 months?

Humm... that puts it in a little different light... Though why would I
ever want onboard sound and ethernet... most of those are non-standard
(some ethernet is ok)... I am going to take my dec ethernet card and
Sound Blaster anyhow... I was kinda drolling over the 5 pci slots
available on some 2xPII systems... I'v got 1 left in my 4 slot machine as
it is...

The motherboard was a neat old developement board from NEC... thrown out
by a developement company... didn't really like >100's (the 90's are
actualy running at 100 right now...)
