I'm using a RH5.0 box upgraded to RH5.1; the compiler I used was
egcs-19981122 (egcs.cygnus.com/pub/egcs/snapshots). Note that
version of EGCS is a snapshot and is such kind of like 2.1.x kernels;
use at your own risk (i.e. may cause stomach upsets, atomic explosions
or sleepless nights).

P.S. Is their anyway to silently subscribe to the axp-list from a second
email address? I want to be able to send submissions from my work address
without receiving a second copy of the list!
