hardware clock not running

Hi,

Linux alpha.utopia 2.1.126 #7 Sam Nov 7 09:42:18 CET 1998 alpha unknown

I just noticed that my cmos clock is way too slow. System clock is ok,
but

[root@alpha olaf]# clock -u -A -r
Mon Nov 30 14:54:53 1998
[root@alpha olaf]# clock -u -A -r
Mon Nov 30 14:54:53 1998
[root@alpha olaf]# uname -a

its a second on the cmos clock every few minutes real time.

System is a PC164 LX with RH 5.2

Any hints?

Olaf
