You should be able to at least get it up with the standard Milo boot disk
(I used the one at
ftp://
gatekeeper.dec.com/pub/Digital/Linux-Alpha/Miniloader/v2.0/latest/Noname/milo
... whew!)
I actually borrowed some RAM to do my initial install, so I'm not quite
sure how you'll want to go about setting things up. You might be able to
mount the milo disk on a PC and then copy this version of milo over the
old one (leaving linload.exe and everything else intact)... I'm not sure;
haven't tried it out this way.
This is a problem with the Redhat install stuff; it won't work with under
32 MB of ram... Things will be really slow at 16, though... I'm at 24 and
it's still almost painful sometimes.
