Same for me , XL366 , kernel 2.1.119 gives system lockup, build with egcs1.03a ,
which egcs was build from source on my machine. Previous kernels had funny
behaviour too, because they would boot , but when booted and I wanted to
use another kernel, the fs appeared to be corrupted completely and had to
install the system fresh again, this problem I notice since kernel 2.1.110 or
so, the funny thing is that kernels between 2.1.110 and 2.1.118 gave no
problems when running, only after reboot for loading another kernel or
something like that.
