I've seen the problem on my Miatas. It seems to come from my extensive
.emacs files. If I start emacs with -q it never happens. I didn't
investigate further what part of the startup causes the problem. I just
use emacs on a sun to edit. Apart from that, I'd also be interested to
hear a solution for this problem.
