Dear all,
I've recently joined this happy crowd of folks who bought an
Alphastation 200 from Onsale, and I have a problem when installing
RedHat 5.1. I have followed the instructions given by several people
on comp.os.linux.alpha and on this list, especially
zouz@home.com. After inserting the floppy with the kernel image and
before being asked to insert the ramdisk floppy I get an infinite
sequence of error messages:
device_interrupt: unexpected interrupt 0
device_interrupt: unexpected interrupt 0
device_interrupt: unexpected interrupt 0
device_interrupt: unexpected interrupt 0
device_interrupt: unexpected interrupt 0
device_interrupt: unexpected interrupt 0
...
I have a SCSI disk which is detected by the kernel
before the system hangs. I also have a SCSI CDROM with the
terminations enabled at the end of the chain.
Any ideas?
thanks in advance
-Arrigo
