build new kernels regularly, and mozilla, and much other stuff. It get
rebooted to new kernels often. I have an AWE 64 Gold, ISA. Real-Time
Clock support is NOT enabled in the kernel (I found that performance fell
to _shit_ if I turned it on... why, I dunno).
Most noticeable performance improvement: turning OFF support for the
Real-Time Clock. With RTC off, I've had the load ave. over 2 and still
had good responsiveness.
