The UDB had "unusual" SIMMs available for it, that were 12 Meg each,
if placed in any socket other than the first two slots in the UDB
they would be recognized as 8 Meg SIMMs, DEC bent the rules a bit
to allow you to start off w/24 Meg RAM and not have to remove any
when you upgraded to more RAM...
