Why must the partitions be smaller than 2gigs? I have a 4gig partition 
and it works well.

++Because the installer was hanging when formatting partitions larger
++than 2 G.  _After_ installation, you can add them as large as you like.

External modems are just like intel systems.
I copied my ppp files over from my intel machine and connected the
modem up and it worked. I did nothing special.

++Yes the config files are the same mostly.  But, the connect speeds
++of 57600 and 115200 simply do not fly on my AS200 with USR Sportster
++combo.  I had to change it to 38400 and it then worked (thanks again
++to Mssr. Sturrock 8))
