AS200 hangs on install

Well, after much fiddling I got the installation to work with RH5.0 disks
(as I posted) but now when I do the install, the system freezes.
I can do all the partitioning okay, select my packages, and it then does
the formatting of the partitions (swap and /) and starts the install.
The problem is that it freezes in different places during the install,
leaving the system hung with the SCSI HD activity light on. Sometimes it
hangs during formatting, but about 50% of the time it will successfully
format, read in the first few packages, and hang when trying to install a
bit 13mb library package. It hangs at different points of this as well,
sometimes after maybe 1% done, toher times at maybe 40% done.
I am thinking it is a SCSI problem.
I have tried two different hard drives (CFP1060s and CFP1080) and two
different CD-ROM drives. Same problem. I have the hard drive internal,
terminated, the CD external and terminated. Its very strange.
Anyone?
Thanks,
