i'm quite sure this is a nice start for a solution yet.
but this way of doing things doesn't work. i tryied to remove any
cards and to boot, same thing. i tryied to launch a failsafe boot
and to restart, idem.

but why is there a cirrus logic module for digital unix 4.0d :?
yet, this 2 pci bus are unusable, as if they had burned.
i'm quite too busy to get the card of and to ohm-test these,
and the "auto-disable" feature seems to be a nice explanation..
what now ? :))
