It's pretty simple.
As you probably know, we normally make the first partition on the hard
drive a FAT16 (DOS) partition to hold milo and linload.exe.
If you make that partition bigger ( at least 500MB, NT is a pig) then you
can install NT there. Make another 2 or more partitions to hold Linux / and
swap, and more if you like to hold /usr and whatever else on separate
partitions. You create 2 different booter selections in the ARC or
AlphaBIOS menu, and that is about it.
Pros: You can run Windows software.
When NT blue-sceens you have something decent to run on your machine.
Cons: You use up a lot of diskspace to hold NT and those files.
When you run out of disk space you have to do some work to clear off the NT
partition and re-format it as e2fs.. ;^}
