The linux kernel did not crash -- the X server did. It did it by
having cropped the high 32-bits of an address (notice 206cbc04).
You didn't say, but because you are using XF86_SVGA, I presume you
are using a Matrox Millenium. In which case, you should try out
Matti Aarnio's patched server. I don't have the url handy, but
hopefully someone will pipe up.
