I occassionally have a problem with netscape running on another server and
displaying on AXP workstation. This doesn't crash the AS, but logs me out!
Details are AS200 fvwm, Linux 2.0.20.
I guess that I will have to upgrade at some point, but as I have an
otherwise stable system, I feel that it is difficult to invest the necessary
time.

I was curious if this bug is on intel machines. I opened 100 xterm's
and so far no crash. I will leave the windows up all day to see if it
crashes. I assume you were using xterm's or does it make a difference
what windows you have open. I'm using fvwm2 as the window manager. I
did have this same matrox mill II card in the alpha system for a while
and never had a problem with it. That was with an AS/200. Maybe it is
an alpha only problem.
Hope this gives you a data point to work with.
Later,
Alan
