compile kernel help...

i compiled my kernel and it made a VMLINUX file...but how do i make a
VMLINUZ image file of the kernel..or do i set milo to just load the
vmlinux file now???

also there is a file in boot called modules-info..but when i made a new
kernel..there is no modules info file..i see system map.

How do i make a modules info file? or is it not needed?

if there is a special page for alpha kernbel compi;ling  please pass the
info...my books seem to differ than the process for the alpha.
