RE: 3305 and RH6 boot problems

Hey, Eric,

Thanks, I tried this boot on the SRM command line:

boot dka400 -file vmlinux.gz -flags "root=dev/fd0 load_ramdisk=1"

with my boot floppy and the CD in there. At this point aboot: asked me
where the kernel image was and was looking for it on the CD!!!. I got all
excited until I couldn't find anything on the CD that was called vmlinux.gz
(there's a generic.img and a bootlx file?) So close?!?!?!?

I finally got RH6.0 to boot on my DS3305 by booting directly from
the CD (booting from floppy did not work). I used the commands for
booting from CD that are in the Alpha Addendum. (Sorry for not giving
the boot command here, the manual is at home, I'm at work.)

Hope this helps.
