It doesn't yet, but certainly it *can*.  I've had zero time to work on
it the last couple months.  But I've sunk my teeth back into it in the
last couple of days, and with any luck I will get somewhere on it
before I have to go back to work.

Yup.  I've tried it out on 164LX, 164SX, AS 250, AS 200, and Multia.
On the DEC 3000, I've only tried booting over the network, it is able
to load a kernel (which later hangs).

No, my patch won't solve that.  I've seen the "Red Hat Rawhide/Alpha"
thread - I'll bring Rawhide home in the next day or so and play with
it, along with Ruediger Oertel's patch.
