RH6 Post Install Prob

Hi,

I was hoping you could point me in the right direction here. I've
successfully booted off the CD and installed/partitioned/etc.  Upon restart
I noticed that the SRM console settings: "boot_osflags, boot_dev, etc." were
all still set for booting off the floppy (which is what I tried first before
the CD boot)which means the machine isn't booting from the new install. I'd
like it to boot from SRM at startup so I've tried the following:

FIRST I tried

>>>set boot_file 2/boot/vmlinux.gz
>>>set bootdef_dev dka0
>>>set boot_osflags "root=/dev/sdahda21"
>>>boot dva0 -fi vmlinux.gz

to boot from floppy and then install kernel on hdisk with swriteboot?
Didn't know if this was necessary since I suspected the install CD already
did this? This results in the same error as before:

halted CPU 0

halt code = 5
HALT instruction executed
PC = fffffc0000310088
boot failure

I appreciate you guys helping me out.  I've been trying to make the
transition from NT to Linux for the last couple of months here and I'm
finding the learning curve steep, but fun.
