Hi.

There was some discussion in the comp.os.vms list about bad cpu fans on some
Alphas. (takes out the cpu if the fan dies a slow death?)
The PC164 boards I received from sysmerica  seemed to have questionable cpu
fans. One was so out of balance that it shook the whole case the board was
mounted in.
There is a source for these fans at www.excess-solutions.com under heatsinks
should anyone need one. $5.00.
(I don't have any affiliation with them. Its just cheap insurance to fix my
fans..)
