I'm running a Matrox Millenium card. It seems to work fine with SRM, but
I would think that SRM isn't very picky and just uses VGA. I think I've
heard that the Millenium isn't supported under Tru64 UNIX, so I'm
basically planning on telnetting in since I can't live with 640x480.
Are your running the Permedia2 chipset because it is pretty well supported
under Tru64 UNIX? I don't see it listed at
http://www.digital.com/alphaoem/alpha-hcl.htm but that seems to be a
pretty poor list, or at least aimed at NT users. Is there a better HCL
somewhere?
Hmmm, tracking HCL for both firmware and OS is a pain...
