Hmmm. I have a FreeBSD CD on my shelf that has a port
of it for Alpha. I think FreeBSD is available now for
Alpha too. (but requires SRM to boot)

I don't know this for sure, but I've seen benchmark
results that claim OpenBSD/Alpha.... perhaps OpenBSD
is also avail. for Alpha?
