Alpha Backups

Help,

I've just installed RedHat 6.0 on my system ( pulling over 6.1 at the
moment), I have 3 scsi cards in my machine.
One is a combo ( 2 x ultra NCR 896  + ethernet) and one NCR 810 ( Standard
SCSI )
I have my drives hanging off the ultra, my tape and cd-writer hanging off
the 810.

The problem I have is when I run Taper ( either 6.9 / 6.9a ), select a file
system to backup and finish, Taper stack dumps.

Has anyone else seen this problem ?
