I recently got PCMCIA going on RH6.0 on multia w/out a hitch.  Download the PCMCIA
source (search for it at google.com).  Read build and installation instructions
and give it a whirl.  I remember the compilation hanging at the end on
something that turned out not to be necessary (some .dat file or something).
