Hi all,
I have just upgraded my PC164 based system from ARC to SRM using the new
SRM files at ftp.digital.com.
While everything went fine with the fwupdate process and the machine boots using SRM,
my ethernet device is not found. I know, that SRM support for non-DEC^h^h^hCompaq
devices is rather delicate, this card gets recognised fine in an UP2000 set up for SRM
usage.
Info:
Card: CNet CN100TX(F) 21143-PD based PCI Fast Ethernet
on the PC164, "show version" gives the following:
V5.5-1 Jul 14 1999 12:37:45
The PC164 is set to run via serial console, no disks, floppy.
So here are my questions :-)
1. Is there any Fast Ethernet device recognized by the SRM Firmware, PC164 flavour ?
2. Any trick to get the CNet working ?
Anyway, thank you in advance for the help..
