Sorry Paul, I don't have anything much more specific at hand.
While they were still available we used to buy the Mylex DAC960 from 
distribution and just used them. We never had any real issues with them, so 
our efforts did not extend to anything very complex..

Have you contacted API for info? As this is ARCSBIOS it may be there that 
the problem lies..
