Re: New to the AlphaStation 200, console problem



You might want to consider flashing your roms. This may be desirable in
any case.

The images are at
ftp.digital.com/pub/DEC/Alpha/firmware/v5.6/alpha200. v7.0 is current, but
SRM didn't work on my as200--I went back to v6.9 which seems to work fine,
though I'm still having a scsi issue <see next message>

PS: You can prepare the update on any number of systems including
DOS/Win. Readme's are at ftp.digital.com/pub/DEC/Alpha/firmware/.
