Signal 11

Must this Signal 11 really problem of hardware?

My LX164 is from Digital, CPU 533 From Samsung
Running on 128MB ECC Samsung ram too....

I found a bug with the SCSI drivers for Adaptec 2940uw thru.

With a Sony 8X SCSI-2 when accessing the cdrom it restarts my system!!!

So I removed it and put in a old 6X cdrom and I can install properly :-).  IDE btw.

Now I have a 4.5GB Maxtor Altas II inside only sync at 10MB, it gave me of auto-termination warning....

So any suggestions?

I am using stock RH 5.2

I can complie things ok (SMC 9432TX drivers complied and installable as modules btw!!!  It is a good 10/100 card).

I can run X11 ok using Diamond FireGL 1000, so I guess things is pretty ok.

Please teach me where I missed!
