I installed the whole package.
I have not been able to get any of the stuff in the demo directory to run.

It seems that I am having problems with lestif, illegal instructions and
problems with libstdc++.so.2.7.2

Has anybody had reasonable luck with jdk? and anything that touches any
of the GUI stuff(possibly it should be gooey:)
