2.2pre4 success

Well, looks like 2.2pre4 works on my AlphaStation 200. All I had to do is
make a small change (described in my previous post to the list). The
system is a newly-installed Debian 2.1 (slink) machine; I have yet to
download the fbcon tools (and others) required to take full advantage of
this kernel, but it all looks good so far.

And they were right...the penguin logo *is* spiffy. And the console is
certainly faster than with the 2.0 series' TGA driver. Very cool.
