Re: hrm... faster than axppci33 needed



The alphastations 200 series (with the 233 Mhz CPUs) are a *bit* faster,
use the same RAM, and have two more banks for RAM expansion. You will
be able to migrate most, if not all your bits from the noname system
to the alpha station... Performance will be on the order of 1.5x to 2x
as a rought guess... Cost will be *around* $200, maybe a lot less...

Many of the older Alphastations also take standard Parity RAM, but I am
not familiar with model numbers/speed/prices on them...
