Hmmm I'm about to update a machine thats been running redhat 4.2 almost
2 years now. The machine runs q-mail bind and ssh. Thats it. This
is a "production" machine which means I don't want it off line very much.
Does any one have some advice as to updates, I want to update the
compiler, and libraries. Then I will recompile qmail, bind and a 2.0.36
kernel.
Any one know of any pit falls in my scheme??
More Importantly which RPMS should I get??
I've installed several machines from scratch, and done some implemental
updates on various 5.0/5.1/5.2 machines, but have left this baby alone
because of the HORROR stories I've heard regarding 4.2 upgrades.
