Awesome!  Took some time to find, but got 2.4-3 from a redhat mirror off the
5.2 CD image.  It runs with- apparently- zero load, and without troubling
esd- pretty cool!  (I did find it kinda suspicious that drvmidi stopped
reving at the beginning of last year- seems Iwai was working on playmidi
instead.)

Now the whole sound card works!  Thank you very, very much!!
