Unable to install RH on PC164SX

hi,

I am unable to install Red-Hat [Powertools 5.1] on my PC164SX. MILO and the
kernel work both fine but after trying to mount the ramdisk it ,,hangs''
the drivelight stays on and that's it all there is. it looks like the
kernel recognizing the disk-drive as a 2.88MB [which it is not] and going
in error there.

I tried to run it from the CD by trying to mount the RH-CD as root.
works fine and the kernel boots but unfortunaly the device sr0 does not
exists.

Any idea's for a work-around or other things to try?
