off-topic thought on problematic dates (was Re: January 19, 2038)





Curious: in all the y2k hype, I have not heard of any 
analysis into the ages of the systems that must
be fixed or have been fixed.

For instance, of the fixed or at least tackles problems,
how many were from systems built in the 60's, 70's, 80's 
or even 90's?

Would anyone like to speculate?  Or is anyone aware of 
such information?
