Hmm.  Isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into our current trouble?
With Linux being used in a lot of embedded devices, some of which I'm sure
will be around in 40 years, this approach is not especially helpful.

Fortunately, the issue isn't 32-bit vs. 64-bit computers, but 32 vs. 64-bit
__time_t.  If this is fixed in the glibc (and people don't do stupid things
like casting to/from ints), then we're all set, right?
