At least it's silly to think about reaching 1<<63 at all before
thinking about how the time gets initialized after a reboot.
It's maybe more interesting to think about the DM-bit
of your MC146818-compatible RTC chip; just in case that you
want to turn off a machine for one or two centuries; this small
bit seems to make a difference...
