Plan B (Was: Digital UNIX Library Compatibility?)

I see now that link-level compatibility between Alpha Linux and Digital UNIX .o
files is a pipe dream. (Thanks to everyone for their input.)

Plan B: Let's say I was to compile and statically link our program on a Digital
UNIX box. Would the Digital license place any restrictions or obligations on
copying and selling the resulting executable on another platform?
