I'm trying to set up RedHat 5.2 on a DEC AlphaStation 200. However, when
I connect the AlphaStation to my monitor switch (a Rose ServeView 4), the
keyboard doesn't work quite right when booting from SRM (in particular,
the backslash/pipe key doesn't work), and the keyboard doesn't work at
*all* when booting into MILO (e.g., the caps lock generates an 'm',
the 'a' key generates a 2). The Alpha appears to work OK when connected
to a real keyboard, but I don't have the space for two keyboards.
(The mouse and monitor functions work just great, by the way.)
Now, the switch works *fine* with the other three x86 machines; is there
any way to get the Alpha to work, or am I going to have to use a serial
console?
