Gimp is acting funny.

I just noticed something about the chrome logo on my page that it's not
chrome at all. Everyone try this. Start up gimp and use scriptfu to
build a logo, save it. Now look at it with XV or something. On my system
the logo looks like it should when I'm making it but when I save it and
view it again it looks like just white letters. No fonts or nothing. Has
anyone else seen this or am I crazy? Thanks.
