Re: New RPMS: WindowMaker-0.51.0 and more.

Hi Shane,
I wish someone had told me sooner. Everything I build uses egcs-1.1.1-4
and the latest binutils. That illegal instruction sounds like you have
an older binutils package. Please upgrade to one on my site. As for
compiling I build my stuff with no assembler flags and
-02 optimization flags so they are generic and should work on any Alpha
system. Try ugrading your binutils and if that works I'll have to amend
my spec files to include it as a requirement. If it doesn't work I'll
ask the list how to build packages that run on all Alpha's. Out of
curiousity have you tried anything else other than KDE like WindowMaker
for example? It just may be a C++ thing though rpm should have caught
that your libstdc++ isn't up to spec.
