Ping, WAS: Instability (RH6 ??)

I have some weird problems with ping too. Just after I installed RH6 all
was fine. Moved the computer to another network and have been getting
data errors in the eight byt alle the time when using ping. Even when I
ping myself. Thougth it ware some weird network config trouble on my
site...
