Stronghold works perfectly on AlphaLinux. You can infact download a evaluation copy to test it on.

i'm wondering about ssl on the alpha. my experience with apache/ssl has
only been on i386, which has almost always some *part* of the ssl stuff
already compiled (stronghold,redhat secure server, etc...)

are there many people out there using ssl on the alpha? if so, what? is
mod_ssl or open_ssl the only solution?
