The above is a bit misleading. I believe every machine check goes to
this function. It is not necessarily from the PCI bus, or even from the
Tsunami chipset.
A clue is the vector: 0x630 means "correctable". Typically there is a
single-bit ECC error somewhere in your system (although it should be
able to cope with this).
Try something like this:
1) boot with one CPU. If it doesn't work, boot with the other CPU.
Make sure the connection with the motherboard is good. [is it possible
to boot with one CPU, seated in the second slot?]
2) try booting with half the memory, and then with the other half.
Again, make sure all the connections are good.
Hopefully, there is one component that causes the failure.
