I was recently setting up a laptop - Cardbus machine so 2.2 was
required. I used 2.2.7 and everything worked fine - ethernet, PCI
modem on a shared interrupt, X (1024x768, but I had to substitute
a Rage LT - sic! - server), the whole works.
My alpha runs, stable, 2.2.10 but I pay attention to what Richard
Henderson writes on this list and patch accordingly. :-)
