This bugs me because I've seen it myself and I can't remember the exact
cause or cure.
I just dragged out a spare Multia to see how I have it set up.
The OSLOADOPTIONS field is passed to milo as a command. Mine says:
boot sda2:vmlinux.gz
If your problem is strictly in the milo phase of the boot, this may
get you past it. Obviously you'd want to put your own parms in the line.
In ARC:
Go to Supp menu
Set up system
Manage Boot Sel....
Change...
Pick what you've labelled
Then scroll down to OSLOADOPTIONS and change it.
Don't forget to save things on your way out.
My memory span is about a week on a good day, and this was several months
ago. I don't think I had to snag a different milo, but the possibility
exists.
Let us know if this helps.
