I'm facing a few problem on my Xwindows( using RH5.1 currently).Some s/w
like midnight comander,nxtermroot  hang after a while. I 've install
freeamp but can't use it? dunno why.My midnight commander  and my
filesystem s/w provided by linux RH5.1 don't allowed me to access to my cd
rom file without mounting on it with first but I've try to mount it with
the filesystem viewer s/w but it come out with error.I can't mount it
through it only with root nxterm graphics interface .
Kindly help me out?

one of my boot file system is lost how could I repair this?

how to upgrade my kernel?(I haven't done this b4)
