Linux on Compaq XP1000

I am about to get 16 of the new single-21264 XP1000 systems from
Compaq on loan for benchmarking support purposes. (Those of you who
were wondering about Compaq's enthusiasm for Linux should take note:
I'm getting this loan from a general business group inside Compaq, not
any group which has traditionally cared about Linux. I am very happy
about this development.)

Are there any instructions/support for Linux on this beast? I don't
notice anything in the FAQs yet. So, short of bugging the
ever-overworked Jay Estabrook...

If I look on gatekeeper in systypes.txt, I see a new system "takara",
as well as the "tsunami" 264DP "goldrush". Is takara the one? It would
be nice if the cute names could also be supplemented with some product
names, e.g. DS20 (264DP), XP1000 (?). All of the other entries have
all of their proper product names listed; no doubt Jay just hasn't
gotten to these new ones.
