Network Cards

I got the tier one network card compatibility list from redhat
3 Com: 3c509
       3c59x, 3c900, 3c905 3c905b
Digital: 2104x, 2114x

Which cards have people had the most success with (I'm
running an old XL266 RH5.2 2.0.35)?

I'm having trouble finding these particular models(my knowledge of
networking hardware is pretty limited):
a) would model numbers be different in Canada????
b) will a 3c905-T4 react the same as the stated 3c905????

I called Digital, I can order a 2104x for $265!!!!! and all the 3 com
cards I've seen are over $100, does anyone know where to go or who to call
to get anything cheaper(remanufactured????), I have to stretch my student
loan out as much as possible. I just need something that works = )
