Re: Jensen clock problem

Hi Jo!
Old jensen bug. Martin Ostermann included jensen support in the clock
program but redhat folks continuously do not activate it. So one has to
patch it by hand. With redhat 5.0-5.2 one had to include the switch -j
in the script that ran the clock program at boot-up to get it working
right (and -a for ARC style interpretation of the year, this should only
give you 20 years off though).
Please, if you are able to patch the rh6.0 clock to work on the jensen,
inform Tom Everett, so we can get all the files required to get rh6.0 up
collected at one place.
One more question. Do you know which deamon breaks the redhat init.d for
the jensen. Is it knfsd? I did not include that deamon in my kernels as
I do not have the required tools for knfsd, maybe if it's included the
portmapper will not wait forever. If you are willing to try this please
keep me informed about your proceedings. (I would be happy if I could
supply you with a knfsd-supporting kernel, just let me know).

Good luck
	Sebastian
